Utopia Ranch for Youth provides children with the opportunity to heal, regain confidence, and restore hope. It is our dream to eventually become a residential facility. We strive to provide a nuturing environment that always acknowledges the uniqueness, dignity, and worth of each individual.

• We are not a rehabilitation facility. We do not handle drug or alcohol dependecy or detoxification issues.
• Utopia Ranch for Youth is unable to accept children with suicidal tendencies, homicidal threats, ideation, or negative behavior which may be ongoing or in recent history.
• We cannot accept children with a history of sexual offending behavior or sexual perpetration.

• Utopia Ranch for Youth is about heart, our heart for children, a child pouring his/her heart out to a horse, the heart of a horse helping a child with a broken heart, children sharing their hearts with each other, healing hearts.

• My husband Joe and I were guardians for two little girls from a broken home, they blessed us so richly and left an impression that we won't forget.  They engraved a permanent mark on our hearts while making us aware of a void that we needed to fill in their lives and in the lives of children like them.
• It is our hope that through our "horse angels" and the other programs that we offer, we can make a difference in the lives of the children that come to the ranch.  We want to give children that are in chaos, confusion, and hopelessness, a sense of security and comfort, a sense of hope.  We strive to give children in a stable home an opportunity to be around horses in a safe and inspiring environment, to work side by side with other children, to accomplish goals and conquer challenges that are important to them.  There truly is something here at the ranch for ALL children.
